Sarah Coldwell

Sarah Coldwell is a self taught artist originally from Richmond Virginia. After living in Los Angeles and on the South Shore of Massachusetts, she now calls Wilmington, North Carolina home.
Sarah began painting following a difficult time in her life. She immediately fell for the magic that happens when you get lost in a painting and feel your way through.
Sarah's painting style is intuitive --- using gestural markings, layering and spontaneity, resulting in bold color conversations and dynamic play.

Sarah Coldwell's work is currently held in private collections in Virginia, North Carolina, Massachusetts and California.
